Abducted boy recovered, 5 kidnappers held From Our Correspondent SIALKOT: Police on Friday arrested five alleged kidnappers and recovered eight-year-old boy Shahzeb Ali who was abducted for ransom two months ago. DPO Rai Ejaz Ahmed told during a press conference that Shahzeb Ali, a student of class 2, was kidnapped from Zahoora village, in the limits of Kotli Syed Amir police station, two month ago by accused Aqeel Mand and his accomplices Sher Khan, Dawood, Naimat and Hanif, and later shifted the boy to Swat. The DPO said that the accused kidnappers demanded Rs 1.7 million as ransom to free the boy, however, Sialkot police managed to trace their location. He told that main accused Aqeel Mand was arrested from Rawalpindi Airport while leaving for Saudi Arabia while the boy was recovered and four other accused were nabbed from Ronial village, Tehsil Matta, Swat district. The DPO told that during the initial interrogation, accused Aqeel disclosed that he had kidnapped the boy due to some monetary dispute with the uncle of the boy living in Saudi Arabia. The police have registered a case.
