Call for withdrawal of ‘selection system’-based LB ordinance From Our Correspondent FAISALABAD: Arif Ayazn, secretary general of the Awami General Party and PTI district deputy organizer Sajjad Haider Khan Wednesday urged the government to withdraw ‘selection system’-based local bodies amendment ordinance, 2015 forthwith. Addressing a joint press conference at Faisalabad Press Club, they said the government should completely abolish this system to provide a fair chance to women to contest the LB polls. They demanded the government hold the LB polls on time to resolve multiple problems faced by the people.
