poet Ronaq Hayat also presented a poem paying rich tributes to Rizvi. A senior journalist and short story writer, Saleem A'azar, shared his experience of meeting and learning from Firasat Rizvi and his wife, Naseem Nazish, who is also a poetess.
Another speaker, Moin Assar Chishti, read a paper about how Rizvi was a man of integrity and kindness, who had also encouraged young poets.
A promising journalist and writer, Khurram Sohail, who conducted the proceedings, pointed out that he was the poet’s student and had witnessed firsthand how Rizvi was an extraordinary figure in literature. Firasat Rizvi in his vote of thanks recited his poetry which was acclaimed by all those present.
