Private students shine in Multan matric exams From Our Correspondent MULTAN: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Multan, has announced the Secondary School Certificate annual examinations 2015 result here. Declaring the result, BISE Controller Syed Haider Abbas Gardezi said that total 91,725 candidates appeared in the examination of whom 67,800 were declared successful with pass percentage of 74.05. Students of the private schools captured the top three positions. Overall top position: Amina Khalil (Roll No 648923) of the Al-Siraj Public Girls High School, Basti Malook, clinched the first position with 1078 marks while Fatima Yasin (Roll No 637996) of the Vehari Grammar Girls High School and Muhammad Raza (Roll No 662198) of the Multan Garrison High School shared the second position with 1077 marks. Urwa Qasim (Roll No 660726) stood third with 1076 marks. Science group (Boys): Muhammad Raza (Roll No) of the Garrison High School got the first position with 1077 marks. Muhammad Osama Zahoor got the second position with 1074 marks. Muhammad Sohail (Roll No 667043), Muhammad Tauseef (Roll No 611057) and Malik Humayun Khalid (Roll No 611390) shared the third position with 1073 marks. General group (Boys): Hafiz Ghulam Muhammad (Roll No 720760) of Multan got the first position with 1040 marks and Abu Bakar Siddique (Roll No 709307) of Multan stood second with 1019 marks while Waheed Murad (Roll No 712042) of Vehari and Yasir Ishaq (Roll No 720653) of Multan shared the third position with 986 marks. General group (Girls): Saba Ghulam Rasool (Roll No 720083) of Multan got the first position with 1031 marks and Aqsa Babar (Roll No 720185) of Multan secured the second position with 1030 marks while Afsheen Badar (Roll No 711132) of Vehari stood third with 1026 marks. Meanwhile, BISE Controller Syed Haider Gardezi said that 13 unfair means cases were registered and all of them were decided by punishing the candidates. He said the supplementary examination would begin from September 8. The candidates can deposit examination fee till August 7, with double fee till August 17 and with triple fee till August 20.
