CHARSADDA: Talks among the three-party alliance for ensuring win in re-polling at 45 polling stations of 16 union councils slated for July 30 and forming district and tehsil governments made headway on Thursday.
The alliance comprises of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Qaumi Watan Party and Jamaat-i-Islami. The talks were arranged at the residence of Akbar Jan, a leader of the Jamaat-i-Islami. PTI leaders Arif Ahmadzai, Abid Khan, QWP’s Arshah Khan Umarzai, Farman Khan, Shah Jehan and Misbahullah, Muhammad Arshad Khan and Javed Khan of the JI participated in the talks.
The leaders told the media after the meeting that the representatives of the three parties alliance would meet after the re-polling on July 30 for making a strategy for forming coalition governments in the district and tehsils.
