DASKA: A man was murdered over a petty issue on Tuesday in the city area.
Sharif, an employee of a shrine and Nasir had quarreled over a petty issue in the past.
On the day of incident, Nasir and his accomplice stabbed Sharif to death.
BOOKED OVER SHELTERING POS: Police booked three people on charges of harbouring proclaimed offenders (POs).
Police was tipped-off that POs Saleem, Akhtar and Shahid were present at houses of Muhammad Nawaz, Ashraf and Tanveer Ahmed. When police raided, the POs escaped with the connivance of these people.
BURGLARY: Thieves took away cash and gold ornaments from a house situated in the city area.
Mirza Nadeem was not present at his house when thieves entered his house and took away Rs 150,000, 20 tola gold and a cell phone.
SUICIDE ATTEMPT: A youth tried to commit suicide in the city area.
Yaseen was jobless for a long time. He used to quarrel often with his family members.
On the day of incident, he took poisonous pills and when his condition deteriorated he was shifted to civil hospital.
