Holidays of Multan dist govt employees cancelled

MULTAN: The City District Government has cancelled holidays of its employees in view of meeting flood danger.District Coordination Officer (DCO) Zahid Salim Gondal Thursday issued a circular asking the employees not to leave the district until next orders.
The DCO said the whole administration would work for the safety of the district. He said all Ramadan Bazaars would be closed from Friday while Eid Bazaars would remain open on Eid. He directed the administration for preparation of extensive Eid traffic and security plan.
The DCO ordered the City Assistant Commissioner Malik Attaul Haq for conducting operation against encroachments across Mumtazabad, Gulgasht, Double Phathak, Qasim Bela and other busy centers to provide relief to citizens.
