This refers to the news report, ‘Govt mulling legal action against K-Electric: Sharjeel Memon’ (July 13).The provincial minister seems to be oblivious of recent media reports according to which all copper wires worth Rs750 billion were replaced with cheap wires which cannot sustain extra load – hence the frequent breakdowns.

This refers to the news report, ‘Govt mulling legal action against K-Electric: Sharjeel Memon’ (July 13).
The provincial minister seems to be oblivious of recent media reports according to which all copper wires worth Rs750 billion were replaced with cheap wires which cannot sustain extra load – hence the frequent breakdowns. It seems this important factor has eluded the provincial information minister, media and even K-Electric.
