This refers to the letter, ‘To be nabbed’ (June 26) by Akber Khoso. The writer is hoping that the big fish will be caught soon but the PPP’s top leadership has been allowed to leave the country. This is despite the fact that there are serious charges of organised corruption and crime against them.
While smaller thieves and junior bureaucrats have been put on the ECL and are being investigated, bigwigs have been given a safe exit. The message has not gone down well with the public and the general perception is that some backstage deal has taken place.
