Four accused sent to jail on judicial remand

GUJRANWALA: The murder case of MPA Rana Shamshad and his son came up for hearing before Anti-Terrorism Court No-1 Judge Imtiaz Ahmed Chaudhry here on Monday.
Kamoke Sadr police produced four accused, including Saifullah, Shahbaz and Awais, before the judge, who sent them to the jail on a seven-day judicial remand. The judge directed the investigation officer to complete challan and submit it early.
DASKA LAWYERS KILLING CASE: The Daska lawyers killing case came up for hearing before Anti-Terrorism Court No-2 Judge Bushra Zaman at the Central Jail here on Monday.
The accused, former SHO Shahzad Warraich, and his counsel were present in the count. The judge rejected two applications filed by the accused for deletion of section ATA and supply of CD. The court adjourned the hearing for July 8.
LOADSHEDDING: People have been facing numerous problems due to unscheduled electricity loadshedding in the district and adjoining areas.
Talking to newsmen here on Monday, the people said that the loadshedding had made their lives miserable. They said that the loadshedding was affecting routine activities of life in the area. They have demanded the government take steps to end the loadshedding.
