CIA police arrested two alleged terrorists from the limits of Batapur police station area on Saturday.
The arrested terrorists were identified as Mohammad Khan and his accomplice. Police also recovered weapons from them. Police shifted the two to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
Three injured: Three persons received injuries when a gas cylinder exploded in a shop on Bund Road Islampura on Saturday. The process of gas filling was underway in a shop when a cylinder exploded due to gas leakage. As a result, three persons sustained injuries. Upon being informed, the rescuers rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to a local hospital where their condition was said to be out of danger.
injured: Three persons received injuries when their rashly driven car fell from the bridge in Muslim Town on Saturday. It was reported that a speeding car carrying three persons fell from the bridge while saving a motorcyclist. As a result, three persons travelling in the car sustained injuries. They were rushed to a local hospital where condition of one of them was said to be critical.
Man dies: A 65-year-old man died of some medical complications in Shafiqabad on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Akbar. SI Ghulam Murtaza said Akbar, who lived near Mian Hotel Shafiqabad, had been admitted to a local hospital for treatment where he expired.
Police shifted the body to morgue.
