A three-day workshop on “Animal Preservation, Stuffing and Taxidermy” organised by the Department of Wildlife and Ecology and Wildlife Society of University of Veterinary and Animals Sciences (UVAS) concluded on varsity’s Ravi Campus, Pattoki.
Dean Faculty of Fisheries and Wildlife Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf chaired the inaugural and concluding sessions of the workshop organised in collaboration with Pakistan Wildlife Foundation and Kalabagh Wildlife Foundation. Dr Muhammad Ashraf distributed certificates among all the participants and resource persons while Chairman Department of Wildlife and Ecology Dr Waseem Ahmad Khan, Dr Arshad Javaid, Dr Noor Khan and Muhammad Idnan were also present. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ashraf highlighted the importance and benefits of the training in which he said the objective of the training was to train teachers in animal preservation, stuffing and taxidermy techniques. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Talat Naseer Pasha also attended a session of the workshop and lauded the organisers for arranging such an informative workshop.
