Man held for protecting PO

CHAKWAL: Choa Saidan Shah Police Monday arrested an accused who protected a proclaimed offender.
On a tip-off, Sub Inspector Haider Abbas raided house of Waseem Iqbal in Wahali Wala village where proclaimed offender (PO) Hussnain Mushtaq was hiding.
When the police party reached near the house, Waseem Iqbal alerted the PO who fled the house. The SI arrested Waseem.
AFGHAN HELD: Police Monday arrested an Afghan national who was living illegally.
Sadr police arrested Afghan national Qasim Raheel, who was living at Odherwal village without any document. He was booked under Foreign Act and was sent to judicial lockup.
ASI Shahid Bilal of Sadr police arrested Tanveer Abbas of Minwal village and recovered two bottles of liquor from his possession.
