HANGU: A provincial leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and district councillor-elect Shad Muhammad Shinwari joined Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) on Friday. Shad Muhammad Shinwari, who is a member of the PML-N provincial council, was elected as district councilor as independent candidate.He said that he took the decision in the best interest of his area. After his decision, the PML-N party organisation in the district convened a meeting and expelled him from the party. The PML-N district chapter leaders said that he had joined PTI without resigning from the PML-N. The meeting also decided to expel other leaders who had damaged the party reputation in the local government elections.
