Two alleged terrorists arrested

PESHAWAR: Two alleged terrorists and an extortionist were arrested in separate actions in the provincial capital on Tuesday, sources said.Two suspected terrorists were arrested during an action on Ring Road while an extortionist was held from Charsadda Road, police officials said.They said that the Counter Terrorism Department carried out an action on Ring Road during which two suspected militants, Zahid and Sifat, were arrested. They were stated to be wanted to the police in many incidents.In another action, the police rounded up an extortionist who had demanded Rs 5 million from a local trader in Bakhshi Pul.
