BHAKKAR: In the light of the finding of the CM complaint cell, former DHO Dr Malik Muhammad Aslam and storekeeper Pervaiz Ahmad Khan have been dismissed from service.
Dr Malik Muhammad Aslam has also been awarded Rs 5 million fine and Pervaiz Ahmad Khan Rs 4.2 million fine.
According to the inquiry report, Dr Malik Muhammad Aslam cheated the government treasury in repairing of vehicles worth Rs 3.3 million and stock purchases worth Rs 10 million. Dr Aslam recruited Naqash Ashraf as junior clerk, Muhammad Asad as junior clerk and Naseem Ali as junior clerk beyond the rules.
Moreover, Dr Aslam promoted Pervaiz Ahmad Khan to the post of storekeeper in violation of the prescribed rules. In addition, Dr Aslam’s bogus signatures were also found on the records of vehicle repairing and purchase of medicines.
