KARACHI: Brig Atif XI won the 1st Omer Under-16 Syed Hockey Tournament after overwhelming Habib Ali Kiddi XI by 4-0 in the summit clash of the event at Olympian Iftikhar Syed Sports Academy.
Center-half Hammad (Captain), Asad, Ali Raza and full-back Muhammad Farooq scored one goal each.
Muhammd Ahmed was awarded the gold medal after becoming leading scorer (10), while Shahbaz Arbab was declared best player of the tournament.
Imran Baig was the chief guest of event, while M.Shajhan, Ahmed Paniwala, Muneer Qidwai, Farrukh Saeed, Rashid Ali Tipu Sultan and Nadeem Qureshi were also present at the ceremony. OISSA provided the kits and gear for the tournament.
