LAHORE
Professor of ENT Dr Israr Ahmed has taken over the additional charge of Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) and Ameer ud Din Medical College (AMC) after the retirement of Prof Anjum Habib Vohra.
According to a press release Punjab Health Department has also issued a notification assigning additional charge as Principal PGMI and AMC to Dr. Israr Ahmed.
On resuming new responsibilities, Dr Israr Ahmed expressed his resolution to continue best medical services for the patients and solve the problems of ailing humanity, especially keeping in mind the blessings of month of Ramazan. He announced continuing the Evening Out-Door Shift during Ramazan as well so as to provide relief to patients, especially the government and private employees who could not go to hospital during their office timings.
He said he believed in team work and he would work together with all the staff for the noble cause of serving the patients and further improving the standard of PGMI, AMC and LGH.
On this occasion office bearers of Medical Teachers Association Staff and Paramedical Staff Association assured him their full cooperation and congratulated him for holding new responsibilities.
