Technical college gets Rs 30m, furniture From Our Correspondent CHAKWAL: TEVTA district manager engineer Shahbaz Ahmed Monday said the Punjab government released Rs 30 million for Government Technical College Thoa Bahadur. Addressing a certificate distribution ceremony, Shahbaz said the government has also given furniture for the college. He said a full time principal for the college would be appointed in few days and classes would be started after two months. Some 25 students completed one-month training of solar system, repairing and installation from the government technical training institute Chakwal. Chakwal Chamber of Commerce president Qazi Muhammad Akbar presided over the meeting. EDO education Dr Ghulam Murtaza was also present. Chakwal technical training institute principal said the school is functioning in rented building and the students are facing great hardships. Qazi Akbar also spoke. Students were given awards at the end of the ceremony.
