SIALKOT: A youth drowned in Upper Chenab Canal near Malkhanwala village in Sambrial police limits on Sunday.
Muhammad Arslan, 20, of Spall village, Narowal district, was bathing in the canal to beat the heat when he drowned. On information, Rescue 1122 reached the spot, recovered his body and handed it over to his family.
