Partly cloudy with chances of rain-thundershower with gusty winds is expected in the provincial metropolis on Sunday (today).
A westerly wave is prevailing over upper parts of the country. A seasonal low lies over north Balochistan and its adjoining areas. In the next 24 hours, mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thundershower associated with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, DG Khan, Bahawalpur, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi divisions, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir. Maximum temperature in the country was 47°C at Sibbi while in the city was 38 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 28. Parts of the country where it rained between Friday night and Saturday were Dir, Jhelum 15 mm, Mangla, Sialkot Cantt 11, Murree 10, Kakul 9, Malamjaba 8, Rawalakot 7, Gujrat, Sialkot A/P 5, Balakot 4, Kotli 2 and Muzaffarabad 1 mm.
