BHAKKAR: The district election commissioner on Friday issued a notification of delimitation of wards of 64 union councils and 59 municipal committees of all four sub-divisions of Bhakkar district for upcoming local bodies’ elections.
Bhakkar tehsil is consisted of 26 union councils, Mankera tehsil of 11, Kaloorkot of 13 and Darya Khan of 14 UCs. Likewise, the Municipal Committee Bhakkar has 18 wards, MC Darya Khan 12 wards, MC Kaloorkot 11 wards, MC Dulewala 5, MC Jandawala five and MC Mankera has eight wards. The objections against the lists could be forwarded to the Sargodha Regional Election Commissioner’s office from June 11 to 30.
