Dacoits injure guard From Our Correspondent BAHAWALPUR: Two motorcyclist robbers shot at and injured a guard of a money changer shop near DPO House on circular road Bahawalpur on Friday. The dacoits wanted to rob the shop but the guard resisted and suffered bullet injuries. He was rushed to Bahawal Victoria Hospital. Bahawalpur DPO Sarfraz Falki visited the guard at the BVH and gave him Rs 10,000 as a prize to foil the dacoity bid.
30 devotees injured in accident From Our Correspondent BAHAWALPUR: Some 30 people of a Lahore-bound bus that was coming from Sehwan Sharif suffered injuries when their bus hit a stationary truck near the River Sutlej toll station on Friday. Seven people, who suffered critical injuries, were shifted to Bahawal Victoria Hospital (BVH).
