Islamabad: President Mamnoon Hussain will leave for Saudi Arabia on Monday (June 15) with his family to perform ‘Umrah’.
He will also visit Masjid-e-Nabvi in Madina Munawarrah. He will be traveling by ordinary commercial flight of the national airlines and undertake the journey in economy class along with ordinary intending pilgrims.
Sources in the Presidency told ‘The News’ here on Thursday that President Mamnoon Hussain will not avail any protocol and entitled official expenditure for the sojourn. It is expected that the president would spend a few initial days of Ramazan in the holy land.
President Mamnoon Hussain has been regularly visiting Saudi Arabia for performing ‘Umrah’ with his family before assuming the office.
