Man from Lahore shot dead in Karachi

A man was shot dead in a house within the precincts of the Brigade police station of the city on Wednesday. The incident took place in Lines Area near Masooma Imambargah. The body of the victim was taken to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to his family for burial.

The police, while quoting the initial investigation, said that Muhammad Ali, who hailed from Gilgit, was a resident of Lahore and he had been living at his cousin’s house in Karachi for the past few weeks. He had some dispute with a girl in Lahore, and apparently he was killed over a personal enmity. No case was registered till the filing of this report.
