FAISALABAD: A student of the Government College University was found hanged from a rope in a private hostel under mysterious circumstances on Monday. A BSE student was found dead in a hostel of Block-W in Madina Town. The SHO Madina Town police declared his demise as an ‘incidental death’ while others were terming it suicide.
BOY MURDERED: A minor boy was murdered on Monday. Rizwan Ahmad of Ghulam Muhammadabad, was killed by unidentified killers and his dead body was recovered from fields of Uchkera village. The police have shifted the body to a hospital.
SEVEN BOOKED: Factory Area police Monday registered a case against Muhammad Zaman and his six companions of Mohallah Gharibabad on charge of hindering in the official work and hurling threats to Muhammad Asif. The bailiff of civil judge Irfan Rafique Malik was hurled threats.
MEMBERSHIPS OF FOUR LAWYERS SUSPENDED: The Punjab Bar Council (PBC) Monday suspended the membership of four lawyers. They are Liaqat Ali Javed and his sons Subhan Liaqat, Rehman Liaqat and Usman Liaqat. They had allegedly attacked and manhanded lawyer Muhammad Hussain on the courts premises. A case against them has already been registered.
