Dies on road

FAISALABAD: A man was killed in a road accident near Chowk Abdullahpur on Thursday.
Abdul Majeed was on his way when he fell from his tractor-trolley and was crushed to death under its tyres. Police have handed over the body of Abdul Majeed to his parents for burial after completing legal formalities.

Dacoit killed by accomplices’ firing

FAISALABAD: A dacoit was killed by the firing of his accomplices here.
Some dacoits were robbing people of cash and valuables near Qasmia Park. In the meantime, police reached there. On seeing police, the dacoits opened fire on them. During exchange of fire, Ahsanullah of Nankana was killed by the firing of his accomplices. However, the other dacoits escaped.
