KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) is yet to receive any reply from the FIH disciplinary committee regarding Pakistan’s failure to participate in the FIH Pro League.
PHF sent the committee detailed answers to FIH questions last month. An official of PHF said that the response was expected by April 12. Informed sources said that PHF had answered all FIH questions about why Pakistan failed to participate in the Pro League. They said financial constraints were the main reason why the federation failed to send the Green-shirts for Pro League, despite having committed to FIH.
The sources also said that PHF was waiting for the FIH response keenly so that it could plan the future strategy about international competitions.
