FAISALABAD: An influential landlord unleashed dogs on a couple injuring them critically here on Sunday.
According to details, a labourer couple visited a landlord for a complaint regarding him in Jaranwala area of Faisalabad. Annoyed over the labourers stance to challenge his power the landlord unleashed dogs at them.
The couple was injured after attacked by the dogs and were rushed to hospital for treatment. The police were reluctant to take action against the influential landlords. The dwellers of the area protested over the behaviour of the police and demanded of the chief minister to take notice and direct strict action against the landlord and the police official providing shelter to him.
