Cracks appear in Multan metro bus flyover

MULTAN: Cracks have reportedly appeared at newly constructed metro bus flyover as rubble fell from a portion of it. According to officials, the district administration had ordered complete inspection of the flyover on Friday. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mudasar Riaz Malik inspected the affected portion at Chungi No 6 accompanied by inquiry committee members.
He ordered action against the contractor and officials concerned. He ordered a complete inspection of metro flyovers in the next two days. Former Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif had inaugurated the Multan metro bus service in January 2017.
