LAHORE: Officials said continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country. They predicted mainly dry weather was expected in most parts of the country, while hot in south Punjab and Sindh. However, light rain thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Malakand, Kohat divisions, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan. No rainfall was observed in any part of the country. Wednesday’s highest temperature was recorded at Shaheed Benazirabad where mercury touched 45°C while in Lahore minimum temperature was 18.8°C and maximum was 34.5°C.
