Economic crisis to end soon, says Pervez Khattak

NOWSHERA: Defence Minister Pervez Khattak said on Tuesday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had inherited the economic crisis, adding the difficulties would come to an end and country would have a bright future.

He was speaking at a public meeting in his native town of Manki Sharif where Jamaat-e-Islami and Awami National Party members Qazi Islam Muhammad and Qazi Haji Muhammad quit their respective parties and joined the PTI.

Member National Assembly and PTI provincial information secretary, Dr Imran Khattak, MPA Liaquat Khattak and Zamarud Khattak addressed the gathering as well.

The defence minister said the masses had rejected forever the politics of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan People's Party (PPP). He accused both the parties of corruption after coming into power and doing nothing for the welfare of the poor people of the country.

Pervez Khattak said the dream of a New Pakistan would come true one day and the country would head to a bright future. The defence minister said the discovery of the oil reserves would change the fate of the country and the day is not far when we would export oil.

Pervez Khattak said the politics of Prime Minister Imran Khan revolved around the poor people of Pakistan. He said the prime minister would attract investments from abroad and spend the money on the welfare of the poor people of the country.
