ISLAMABAD: Former foreign minister and senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Khawaja Asif excused himself for appearing before the NAB for being out of the country.
The NAB had summoned him on Monday to appear before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Rawalpindi in probe against him allegedly for accumulating assets beyond known source of income.
According to NAB sources, the NAB Rawalpindi received a letter from Khawaja Muhammad Asif that he was out of the country and unable to appear before the NAB. It is expected that the NAB Rawalpindi may summon him again by next week till he returns to the country.
