After skin cancer, breast cancer is the most common cancer. It is diagnosed in both men and women, but is far more common in women. Health experts say that breast cancer is a highly serious health risk for women across the country. Around 40,000 women lose their lives every year in Pakistan due to breast cancer.
The main reason for rising in number of deaths is that most women only detect cancer in the last stages due to lack of education, awareness and cultural barriers.
