PM Imran due in Ghotki today
SUKKUR: Acting President PTI Sindh and MPA Aleem Adil Sheikh has said Prime Minister Imran Khan is due today (Saturday) in Ghotki to meet the representatives of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) to discuss the poor situation of the people in Sindh, especially in Ghotki.
The PTI provincial leader said the prime minister has decided not to leave the people on the mercy of plunderers and money launderers. He said the PM will also address a gathering to let people know that how much pain he feels for the people of Sindh.
Aleem said the PM has also taken notice against the deaths of infants in Thar due to incompetency of the Sindh government that is unable to provide basic health facilities and other resources to the poor people.
He sarcastically commented on PPP’s train rally and said if Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had started a train march, he should have gone to Islambad rather that Larkana to get the actual benefit of it.
The PTI MPA said the train rally did not meet its target and referred to the videos of the participants that have gone viral saying they were paid 200 to 500 rupees by the PPP local leadership to attend the train march.
He said Bilawal Bhutto Zardari failed acquire an NRO for his father, aunt and other party members through the train march, but the PTI government has resolved not to spare the money launderers and corruption mafias.
Meanwhile, Sardar Ali Gohar Khan Mahar said Ghotki is rich in natural resources, so he drew the attention of the prime minister over the royalty of gas and demanded a special package for the district as well as for Sindh.
