Four terrorists killed in Loralai op
RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed four terrorists during a successful intelligence-based operation in the Loralai area of Balochistan on Tuesday, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement.
Among the terrorists killed were two suicide bombers and the mastermind of recent terrorist activities of the proscribed Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Loralai. The terrorists were responsible for the recent terrorist activities in Balochistan and the martyrdom of six Levies personnel on March 20 at Sanjawi, Ziarat.
The operation was conducted during the early hours of Tuesday morning. As the security forces cordoned off the area, terrorists opened fire and used grenades to impede security forces’ movement and tried to flee.
During the intense exchange of fire, all four terrorists, including two suicide bombers, were killed by security forces. A cache of weapons, suicide jackets and heavy explosives, personal belongings — including service cards and NICs of Levies personnel killed at Sanjawi — were also recovered. Four security personnel sustained minor injuries.
