Six held for flying kites in Sialkot
SIALKOT: Police on Sunday arrested six people on the charge of kite flying. Nekapura police arrested Irfan, Rameez, Bilal and Shaukat and the City Pasrur police nabbed Murad and Sikandar for kite flying. The police have registered cases against them. Meanwhile, kite flying continued at various localities of the city, including Shahabpura, Mubarakpura, Nihalchand Street, Karimpura, Kashmiri Mohallah, Hajipura, Nekapura, Rangpura, Muhammadpura, Dharowal and Ahmedpura.
Eight held with narcotics: Police on Sunday arrested eight drug pushers and recovered narcotics from them. Cantt police arrested Waseem from General Bus Stand with 1.70kg hashish, Rizwan from Garrison Park with 1.05kg opium and Noor Elahi from Brigadier Colony with 1.26 kg hashish. Civil Lines police arrested Wahid from Muslimpura with 1.53kg hashish, Shahid and Irfan with 5 litres liquor each and Shakeel with four litres liquor. Sadar police arrested Idrees from Bheko Chor village with 1.30kg hashish.
