Teachers convey Edwardes College issues to governor
PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman on Friday assured to take up the alleged irregularities and demands of the faculty members of Edwardes College at the meeting of the board of governors of the institution, which would be convened soon.
The governor gave the assurance at a meeting with the faculty members of the college.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman said that Edwardes Peshawar was a historic and reputed institution of the province and every step would be taken for its progress. The teachers informed the governor, who is also chairman of the college’s board of governors, of
the problems that the college is passing through these days. They demanded the governor to hold a proper audit of the college funds and impartial inquiry into the financial and administrative irregularities in the college. They also demanded service structure for the teaching staff.
