ISLAMABAD: The former president and Co-Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Asif Ali Zardari, on Thursday held a meeting with JUI-F chief and head of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Maulana Fazlur Rehman here and discussed with him prevailing political situation in the country.
According to JUI-F sources, the two leaders expressed dissatisfaction with performance of the PTI government and also reiterated decision that parliamentary leaders of opposition parties would stay away from the briefing to be given on national security and National Action Plan (NAP).
Maulana Fazlur Rehman condemned police action on eve of appearance of Asif Zardari and Bilawal in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). He also termed NAB inquiries against opposition leaders political revenge.
