Those who are in charge of governance of the Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF), Islamabad, should take steps to grant owners the rightful possession of plots. I registered in the scheme for a residential plot in 2009. In 2012, I retired from service without indication of any information from the FGEHF. After a few years in 2016, I was asked to deposit the down payment of Rs500,000 immediately otherwise the offer will go to the next senior member on the waiting list.
Consequently, in May 2016 I deposited Rs500,000 as the cost of land in favour of the FGEHF. Till now I am not aware of any update regarding the next installment or the progress of construction work on the plot.
