Even the world has recognised that the successful completion of the fourth season of the PSL will go a long way in bringing cricket back home. The ICC chief has also commended Pakistan for the hassle-free completion of the event. PCB officials and law-enforcement agencies must be lauded for their efforts for organising the event in a safe environment.
It is also worth mentioning that this time foreign players also expressed their eagerness to perform in Pakistan. It was also heartwarming that the ongoing tensions with India couldn’t disturb the PSL schedule and the matches that were supposed to be played in the country were held without any problem.

It was good to watch the final match of the PSL. At the start of the event, a moment of silence was observed to pay respect to the victims of the Christchurch shooting in New Zealand. The event was attended by the COAS and the CM of Sindh.
The occasion marks Quetta’s first victory after having reached in the final in the past three years. This wasn’t the win of only the Quetta team, but also of Pakistan. The event highlighted the fact that Pakistan is a peaceful place for every international event.

The National Stadium Karachi echoed with applause and loud cheers of thousands of people who came to welcome cricket. Terrorism in the country had deprived people of all forms of entertainment. People showed caution while stepping outside their homes. In the current event, all thanks to our law-enforcement agencies, people took their families to the stadium and watched the match in a safe environment.
It was good to see the COAS enjoying the match. The president and the governor and the chief minister of Sindh were also there. We must thank the authorities for bringing sports back to the country.
