PPP not to ignore Rashid’s criticism of Bilawal
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians Secretary General Dr Nafisa Shah said on Sunday that the party will not ignore Sheikh Rashid’s threat to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
She said Sheikh Rashid has been a facilitator of terrorist organisations in the past and therefore, his statements cannot be ignored as mere mockery.
“Our struggle and patience should not be seen as a weakness, she said and added that the jiyalas will protect their chairman at all cost.
On one hand, the reference by President Zardari regarding judicial murder of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto is pending and on the other, the killers of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto have been released. She said the concocted case of money laundering against President Zardari has been transferred to Islamabad and now the threat by Sheikh Rashid to chairman Bilawal are all indicating that there are links between all of them. Sheikh Rashid is a spokesman for several quarters including terrorists and so, PPP is taking this threat very seriously. The nation will not tolerate such criminal acts, Dr Nafisa Shah concluded.
Meanwhile, Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari took to Twitter and said Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed is hurling direct death threats at Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
While replying to Sheikh Rashid’s tweet Bakhtawar said it is nothing new that extremist right wingers are threatening a Bhutto but it is disgusting that a cabinet member is giving an open death threat to someone whose entire family was killed.
From spewing hate speech Fed ministers now hurling direct death threats at Bhuttos and Zardaris. Having extremist right wingers threatening a Bhutto is nothing new but 4 a cabinet member 2 give an OPEN DEATH THREAT to someone whose entire family were killed is disgusting, she tweeted.
