LAHORE: Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif has refused to go to hospital for treatment before getting bail.

Additional Chief Secretary Home Captain (retd) Fazeel Asghar said Nawaz, in response to the government letter about his treatment, has verbally said “no” to any hospital treatment before being bailed. He said various people tried to convince him for proper treatment. A full-load ambulance and a doctor are always available for him in the hospital. A servant and a guard have been deputed to Nawaz’s cell, who keep the government updated about his health. He said Nawaz is allowed to have a stroll from morning till 5 in the evening.

NNI has reported Nawaz has expressed concern over the government attitude adopted in his case in the name of medical treatment.
