GUJRANWALA: Residents of various villages living along the Sheikhupura-Gujranwala Road on Friday staged a demonstration at Tatle Aali and demanded immediate repair of the road.
The residents of various villages including Tatle Aali, Begpura and Muralilala protested and staged a sit-in against the dilapidated condition of the Sheikhupura-Gujranwala Road and said that the road had immense importance in economic activities of the areas linked with it but it was neglected by the concerned departments. They announced that they would stage a sit-in on every Friday till repair of the road. The protest was continued till the filing of this report.

GUJRANWALA: Activities of various religious parties, NGOs and civil society members on Friday took out rallies against atrocities and killings of the Muslims in Burma.
The main rally was taken out from Markaz-e-Mustafa led by Saqib Raza while other rallies were taken out from Sheranwala Bagh, Kamoke and Wazirabad in which the protestors demanded the government use its influence to stop killings of the Muslims in Burma. They demanded the government end ties with the Burma.
