Residents of the Sindhi Jamaat Cooperative Housing Society Ltd (Main National Highway, near Jogi Morr, District Malir) and the neighbouring areas are facing trouble due to lack of an overhead bridge on the National Highway opposite to the society. Many people, including students, were either killed or seriously injured while crossing the highway road. After the reconstruction of the National Highway, there is an increase in the traffic that has made it highly difficult for old people and young students to cross the road.
Residents of the society have also written to the KMC for the construction of an overhead bridge in front of the society, but the authorities have not taken any action to date. On behalf of the residents of the area, I request the chief minister of Sindh to help residents and order the relevant department to construct the much-needed overhead bridge.
