International Women’s Day celebrated at RIS
Islamabad : Roots International Schools (RIS) and Colleges celebrated International Women’s Day with full zeal and zest, says a press release.
Speeches were held throughout campuses, cakes were cut, women were acknowledged and students were briefed about the significance of the day. RIS has always preached and incorporated women empowerment and gender equality into its values and principles. During the cake cutting ceremony while talking to the audience Sir Walid Mushtaq said, ‘Keep up doing the great work women, you are very instrumental for our country’s growth and success. Salutations to brave women of the world who against the challenges in their lives continue to inspire new generations to come. You are role models to all children around the globe. Keep up the brave work.’
