LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz on Tuesday said her father Nawaz Sharif's condition is life-threatening and that he has had four angina attacks in the last week.
Taking on Twitter after her visit to the Kot Lakhpat Jail, she said: "MNS's doctor and I met him at Kot Lakhpat Jail on Tuesday. During the meeting, he had an episode of angina and asked for his nitrate spray. It was then that he divulged that he has had similar attacks 4 times in the last week. He reiterated that he will neither report nor complain." Maryam said: "There is no treatment offered to him even when he is taken to and kept in hospital for days. He says he doesn't want to be in hospital as an excuse or escape or just for the sake of it."
