LAHORE: Pearl Continental (PC) Lahore Ranking Tennis Championship was formally inaugurated here at Punjab Tennis Academy courts Bagh-i- Jinnah Lahore on Tuesday.
Roy Kappenberger, GM PC Hotel Lahore, inaugurated the event. “We are delighted that PC administration took initiative to provide an opportunity particularly to the youth to show their potential and abilities,” Roy Kappenberger. On the opening day league matches were played which attracted large number of players in various age groups including open category. It is PLTA’s prime objective to promote the game of tennis through the organisation of tennis tournaments by inclusion of as many junior events as possible,” said Rashid Malik Secretary PLTA.
