Ex-CJ Kh Sharif grieved
The wife of former Lahore High Court chief justice Kh Muhammad Sharif and mother Supreme Court Advocate Muhammad Latif Khawaja and Khawaja Bilal Sharif passed away here on Saturday morning.
She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer two months back and was under treatment at a private hospital.
She was laid to rest in the Miani Sahib graveyard in the evening.
Funeral prayers for her were largely attended by people from all walks of life from superior and lower courts judges to eminent lawyers, politicians, bureaucrats, known businessmen, trade leaders, army and police officers.
Quran Khwani for her will be held at Sector E Mosque at 2pm on Sunday (today).
Dua will be offered at 4:15pm. For women, arrangements have been made at 168-D, Phase 8, DHA, formerly Park View Society.
