Stagnant water

Shikarpur has been facing a grave problem of prolonged gas and electricity loadshedding for many months now. These issues have brought the life in the city to a standstill. The problem was further aggravated by the recent spell of heavy rains.

The stagnant water on the streets has not been drained so far because of the city’s poor drainage system. The rain became a ‘curse in disguise’ for citizens. The authorities must look into the issue and tackle it in a timely manner.
